Oracle Applications Technical Team Lead

Join a leading and dynamic Oracle solutions team which is focused towards providing best practice, value for money services to clients across all aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite implementations. This is your opportunity to be involved in some of the largest and most complex Oracle implementations at high profile clients across multiple industries.

We are looking for an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant with experience of Oracle E-Business Suite implementations.

You should have prior experience in the use of the core Oracle development tools (SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, J Developer, OA Framework, Applications Express, TOAD, Workflow and Discoverer/OBIEE) for production of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions as part of an E-Business Suite implementation project.

You will have been responsible for the management of a development team, consisting of a minimum of 4 people, responsible for the design, build, test and implementation of the custom components to support an E-Business Suite implementation.

Your experience should cover at least 1 implementation that spans the full project life cycle from requirements analysis through to design, build, test and implementation.

It is essential that your technical experience and knowledge is complemented with strong core consulting skills at the mastered level. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and presentation skills, who are able to engage effectively with client staff at senior levels. Lateral thinkers who are keen, motivated and ambitious will be a good fit to our existing team

The ideal candidate will also have a good functional understanding of the Oracle E-Business suite and an appreciation of the underlying technology stack and infrastructure that supports it (at least including Release 11i and preferably Release 12). They will be able to work in a Design Authority capacity and communicate across workstreams to ensure the integrity of the delivered solution.

Knowledge of other Oracle technologies and tools such as XML Publisher and BPEL Process Manager and SOA Suite would be advantageous but not essential.

Experience of working with/managing off shore development teams would also be advantageous.

The role is a highly mobile one, working in teams, on the requirements analysis, design, build, test and implementation of small to large scale complex business transformation programmes. This work is carried out on client site and may be located internationally, although the vast majority of clients are UK based. Required ? Bachelor's Degree ?
