Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Information Security discipline or equivalent.
2. Up-to-date hands-on industrial knowledge of the relevant modules
3. Industrial professional certification i.e. EC Council certification is required.
4. Passion to share and impart knowledge. Confident in managing lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions
5. Dedicated to providing high quality teaching and deploying teaching methods in a creative / dynamic manner
6. At least 5 years’ industry experience, with preferably 2 – 4 years’ lecturing experience in a similar capacity
7. Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting and handle students of different nationalities
Job Description
1. Your primary duty will be your active leadership in the classroom as well as engaging / lecturing relevant infocomm security related subjects i.e. ethical hacking, network security etc.
2. Developing proper Department course outline and contents, for providing a high quality education to all students, in order for them to attain high achievements within their own fields of study, and prepare them well for the job market and industry.
3. Monitor and endeavour to maintain high student morale and motivation at all times, both in the Employee’s specific classes and the School in general.
4. Assist in maintaining general school discipline and the overall operational stability, integrity and professional image of the School.
5. Assist with school promotional activities (Open House, Trade Shows, Education Fairs, etc.) as proposed by the School, both in and out of normal school hours.
6. Be available to students outside normal class hours for questions and individual consultant for a reasonable period of time each week.
7. Abide by the School’s Policies and Procedures.
